The choice of pillows (square or rectangular), filling types (synthetic, down, or memory foam), and duvet weight directly impacts guest comfort — and ultimately online reviews. A 50x70 cm rectangular pillow is generally better suited for sleeping, while the 65x65 cm square format enhances visual appeal and in-room comfort. In hotels, hypoallergenic synthetic fillings remain the most practical and durable option. When it comes to duvets, a 300–400 gsm “all-season” duvet is often the most versatile solution, especially in properties with efficient climate control systems. Selecting the right soft bedding is not just a design decision — it improves guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, product longevity, and overall return on investment in hotel projects.
