Our story
FIGURZ, inspired by the English word "figures," is a French company born from a casual conversation over coffee at Place Victor Hugo in Paris on a beautiful day in August 2023.
The two founders, both project managers specializing in FF&E/OS&E for hotel openings and renovation projects, wanted to create a tool to simplify their work.
Often, after preparing estimates aligned with the architect's project, investors were surprised by the scope of the budget and timeline required. During execution, it wasn't uncommon to have stakeholders with varying levels of information. By the end of the project, investors frequently had to add budget lines due to a lack of anticipation of operational needs.
Our Mission and Values
Passionate about hospitality, interior design, and collaboration, the founders decided to create a SaaS (Software as a Service) with a clear vision :
FF&E/OS&E must be understood by everyone and budgeted with the same expertise as construction work.
Furnishings, furniture, and equipment used by staff are fundamental elements in a hotel's success.

Environmental Commitment
FIGURZ provides project estimates with a clear awareness of its key role in improving the supply chain. Projects estimated through FIGURZ are designed to consider ethical principles and social and environmental responsibilities.
In our estimates, we include robust, modular, and repairable furniture to encourage longevity, reduce over-consumption, and avoid premature replacement. FIGURZ offers users the option to estimate the recovery and recycling of products at the end of their life to prevent landfill waste, favouring local production to reduce carbon emissions from transport.
We strictly prohibit child labor and forced labor and highlight partners and suppliers who share our ethical values in our estimates.

The FIGURZ Team
Martin Bretécher: Passionate about hospitality, Martin started his career at Dynamo, overseeing the FF&E for the Hoxton Hotel in Paris. He went on to lead FF&E/OS&E teams for projects such as SO, MOB, Kimpton, Mama Shelter Luxembourg, and Le Grand Intercontinental. In 2022, after honing his project management skills and gaining insight into market challenges, he founded Holdon, a consulting firm specializing in FF&E project management.
Gaëtan Lagarde: A culinary enthusiast, Gaëtan comes from a background in hospitality and restaurant management, with a degree from the Vatel Institute. After earning his MBA, he joined the Maisons Pariente group to assist in operations. During the COVID pandemic, he shifted to FF&E and OS&E management with the Laurent Taïeb group. He later founded LHOSP and oversaw multiple projects for brands such as MGallery, Mondrian, and Hyde.
Adam Healey: A growth marketing expert, Adam has always worked in the web sector, first in England and later in France. After founding his first company in 2012, he joined ESSILOR and later the French unicorn LEDGER, helping expand its presence in the cryptocurrency wallet market. He joined Martin and Gaëtan in the summer of 2024 to bring his web expertise and develop FIGURZ’s online presence within the hospitality project environment.
Perspectives
FIGURZ aims to expand across all geographical markets, offering FF&E/OS&E project estimation services for future hotels. The company plans to develop estimation and advisory services for upstream and downstream markets, particularly in the construction and operation of establishments. More broadly, FIGURZ seeks to provide financial coherence for other public-access buildings (ERP), such as restaurants, shops, offices, and more.
We are committed to becoming the go-to tool for fair, objective, ethical, and responsible project estimations.
Finally, we are developing a platform to connect suppliers and clients, based on feedback from hotel operations teams, to create a supplier catalogue approved by hoteliers, for hoteliers.
